Poblano/Ancho Grande Pepper

Ancho Grande Pepper is a moderately hot pepper that is excellent for roasting, stuffing, or Mexican fare. It is also known as Poblano in its fresh form. The dark green vegetable measures 4″ long and turns red as it matures. When it is still dark green, it is called Poblano, which is named for a town in Mexico. When it matures fully to dark brown, the name is Mulato.
